Sherwin-Williams Logistics Analyst II - 1.5 year contract in Rzeszów, Poland

POSITION SUMMARY

The position is incorporated within a Control Tower Team of Regional Logistics department. Chosen candidate will be responsible for delivery of support to other business function by effective management of logistics exceptions as well as performance management of external suppliers of logistics services. Performs intermediate duties in the administration of logistics, transportation, inventory and related supply chains.

The position will report to the Regional Logistics Manager and is for maternity cover contract (1.5 year) main responsibilities and duties to include:

  • Development of alternative logistics plans,

  • Execution of standard analyses & reporting utilizing MS Excel functionalities,

  • Assisting with negotiating contracts.

  • Coordinating operations with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure Vendors’ adherence to agreed SLAs.

  • Support logistics exception management as well as the execution of ad hoc and alternative transport requests

  • Contribute to Logistics KPI reporting, project execution and audits.

  • Participate in the collection of business requirements and data gathering under the direction of the Regional Logistics Manager

  • Coordinate with customer service representatives on logistics enquiries, complaints, claims, providing resolution within the agreed timeframes.

  • Investigation of root causes, setting corrective- and preventive actions

  • Arrange alternative transport solutions arrangements.

  • Continuously monitor submitted service exception tickets.

    Role requirements & qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education or two years of professional experience in area of logistics management is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint.

  • Very good language skills both written and oral in English is mandatory.

  • High Customer Focus

  • Pro-active working style and support of the overall Team.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Solution focused and positive mindset.

  • Communicative language skills in at least one of following languages: German, French or Italian

    Highly desirable

  • Proficiency in using Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint software.
