Grundfos Americas Corporation Director of Product Development - make your mark on products for the industry division in Rzeszow, Poland

What’s more, you’ll join a great leadership team and collaborate with fellow product development heads to propel the agile transformation within product development, giving you a lot of influence on our future organization,” explains VP for Product Development Jimm Feldborg .

In this role as a Director of Product Development for Motors and Drives, you’re going to be an overall technical accountable for a portfolio of products. You are going to be leading the Product Development Group to develop and maintain products best in class. Other than that, you are going to secure world-class capabilities and developing an innovation environment together with relevant stakeholders as well as partners. The team is located in Hungary and Denmark. We are open for a hybrid work setup and also for a full relocation to Hungary. In this case, the company is able to provide a relocation package for You.

Your Key Responsibilities will be

  • Budget accountable for all activities within product group

  • Ensure a meaning full work environment linked to Grundfos Values and Purpose

  • Ensure current Product Group portfolio is the best performing in the market

  • Accountable for development for complete technical solution and Product Development (incl. Large, Small and Solution development projects and maintenance) of the relevant Product Group in close alignment with Product Management and Global Program Development Management

  • Sign off on DoC (Declaration of Conformity)

  • Senior stakeholder for Product Development in selected DP projects

  • Capability management linked to Product visions & Roadmap

  • Accountable for selected competence areas within Division PD

  • Drive and deploy Division strategy within the value stream together with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Modular systems Journey)

  • Support and deploy strategies supporting One Grundfos within value stream (e.g. Modular systems Journey)

  • Lead agile transformation and mindset

  • Collaborate, align and agree on capability needs outside PD (Product Management, CTO, OPS and externals partners (make/buy))

  • Inspire, motivate and enable teams to innovate within the resources given

What do You need to apply

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar.

  • Preferably E-MBA or similar

  • Proven experience within Motor and Drives product development preferable drives experience

  • Proven innovation and product life cycle management experience

  • Business acumen

  • Proven experience in Leading and developing people (up to + 8 years)

  • Experience working in cross functional teams preferable in product development

  • product development experience with power electronics and VFD is preferred

  • Several years of experience from working in an international company

  • Agile and Visual Management experience

  • Change management

  • Fluent English verbal and written

  • Must be willing to travel when required
