Job Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician
Job Description
The Avionics Technician is responsible for performing the installations, inspections, and testing of avionics systems in corporate aircraft. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in avionics systems and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
Responsibilities
Perform installations, inspections, and testing of avionics systems in corporate aircraft.
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot avionics systems and components.
Repair, remove, and replace aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems.
Work with communication systems, GPS, and instrumentation panels.
Interpret and work from diagrams and schematics.
Function as a Quality Inspector (QI) for components and aircraft systems.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience performing avionics work.
2+ years of experience with installations of avionics systems.
Proficiency in working with diagrams and schematics.
Experience with communication systems, GPS, and instrumentation panels.
Ability to inspect, test, and perform basic troubleshooting of avionics systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with the removal and replacement of aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems.
Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, testing, removing, and replacing complex avionics and instrument wiring and systems.
Ability to use hand tools, test equipment, technical documents, and technical reference materials.
Flexible schedule to meet job requirements (first shift job).
Experience with corporate jets is preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rye Brook, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
