So, what will I be doing exactly ?
Reporting to the Leading Hand and working in a team. You’ll be operating a range of machines and undertaking mechanical fitting tasks in the repair and overhaul of Komatsu and Joy Mining Longwall equipment.
This means stripping, inspecting and rebuilding underground development equipment. To do so, you’ll need to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings & hydraulic schematics and be computer literate.
You’ll be joining a highly talented team of mechanical fitters that pride themselves on their work ethic and quality outputs.

What do I need to qualify
Relevant mechanical trade qualification.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Demonstrated commitment to safety.
Accuracy & attention to detail.
Dogging, EWP & Forklift tickets a plus!
