Johnson Controls Production Manager in Ruskin, Thailand

What you will do Lead a dynamic production team at Ruskin Thailand, utilizing the resources to meet the daily and monthly production plan efficiently. Manages and directs product engineering initiatives in the plant efficiently, in accordance with corporate policies, procedures and specifications, to produce within the parameters of quality and target cost. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure that new product launches and current product enhancements are incorporated into specifications and procedures so that they meet the process requirements for introducing new products. Collaborates with all departments of the plant in the identification and solution of problems related to suppliers, product or process.

How you will do it

  • Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve production performance.

  • Manage Production Supervisors and plant employees to ensure the daily work plan for plant is executed correctly and efficiently.

  • Provide ongoing and appropriate corrective feedback to assigned workers as required.

  • Promotes and enforces a culture of safety and well-being for all employees and maintains safe work practices.

  • Monitor departmental performance with daily reporting against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.

  • Manage the morale in the facility by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers.

  • Responsible for plant housekeeping and driving 5-S implementation and mindset. • Analyze and report on the plant’s daily, monthly and annual key performance indicators and industry trends.

  • Implement strategies around improving the financial performance of the department.

  • Collaborate on execution of production schedule and resolve any obstacles to on time delivery.

  • Measure and monitor key production areas. Tender and manage all requirements such as Engineering drawings

  • Develop, plan and execute daily, weekly & monthly work schedules for the plant.

  • Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures with an expected professionalism.

  • Must be able to conduct Sales & Ops meeting & Communication with the Sales & Finance team for the production & outlook forecast. Work with Sales and Engineering to win the project during

  • Material Specification and scheduling for factory execution.

  • Control COGS to meet the financial plan.

  • Leading Operation reviews to management, all good and not going well, Factory KPIs, PnLWhat we look for

  • Required The candidate should be very enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a fast learner. The most desirable candidate would be experienced in sheet metal manufacturing (preferably HVAC), and have a good understanding of quality, store & inventory.

  • Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing, and speaking)

  • 6+ years of experience in production or manufacturing management

  • Mechanical or Electrical engineering graduate

  • Proven expertise in leading a team and delivering the results as KPI demand

  • Previous Supply Chain experience

  • Setting productivity goals for manufacturing teams while balancing efficiency and cost reduction.

  • Developing policies and procedures to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.

  • Work closely with EHS professional to maintain safety and health standards to keep the organization accident-free.
