Project Mutual Telephone Account Executive/Business Development - Twin Falls Area in RUPERT, Idaho

General Summary:

PMT is seeking a high energy sales professional to develop new business in the Twin Falls area. As an Account Executive (AE) you will work with our sales and marketing team to increase our small-medium size business account base. Building relationships in local chambers and business groups the AE will sell PMTs business class services and systems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Sell PMT fiber optic broadband, voice products, and other business-related hardware to small, medium, and large businesses.
  • Meet with customers in person and build relationships.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication practices and principles.
  • Follow sales process to qualify customers and determine needs.
  • Work with PMTs technical team to develop solutions that fit customers needs.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of PMT services and systems.
  • Perform market research to assist in market development.
  • Follow-up with installations and alterations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Answers inquiries and questions from customers related to ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, operations, and other related information.
  • Ensure sales accuracy by promptly completing necessary paperwork and record keeping responsibilities.
  • Take the lead in solving problems or concerns with potential and current customers.
  • Keep management aware of public trends and concerns.

Education and Experience:

  • Proven track record for sales success.
  • BA/BS degree and minimum of 5-year experience in technical sales is desired.
  • Be familiar with personal computer operations and the basic use of Microsoft Office, CRM and funnel management.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Creativity, initiative, good judgment is needed as the job is flexible to meet availability.
  • An outgoing personality, self-confidence, an understanding of human psychology, and an enthusiasm for motivating people are important.
  • Technical background and aptitude desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
  • Will require frequent travel within Southern Idaho.

Salary:

  • Base salary is determined based on experience with commissions.

Location:

  • This position will be based in the Twin Falls area.
