REPORTING TO : EMEA Sales Director

ABOUT THE ROLE: Global Account Manager

As a Global Account Manager for the Global Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for looking after 3-5 multinational customers that are headquartered within EMEA.

You'll be responsible for formulating and executing long-term growth strategies for Arrow's enterprise offer, influencing customers' centralized sourcing and technology teams at an executive level, and oversight of existing supply chains to ensure that mutual KPIs are met and exceeded.

This requires a self-motivated professional who is comfortable with regular travel within EMEA, with a proven ability to collaborate with business partners at an executive level. You'll have a proven track record of managing and growing multiple and complex large-scale accounts.


  • Target-focused activity to ensure order-of-magnitude growth target accounts.

  • Ownership of and maintenance of Preferred Supplier List approval in specified clients/verticals.

  • Co-operation with global Regional Managers to ensure support for worldwide arms of specified global clients.

  • Close work with and co-ordination of Arrow sales leaders to establish best practices and mutual cross-selling benefits, including site visits.

  • Establishing relationships with key contacts at major customers in an account management role, including making customer visits and attendance at trade shows

  • Ability to get results from a dispersed, matrix team in a changing and competitive commercial environment.

  • Sales experience preferably in the electronic industry, min. 7, ideally 10 years (preferably working with distribution, electronic components)

  • Experience working on strategic accounts- industrial customers.

  • Experience working in international environments.

  • Ability to interact in a daily basis with C-Level and stakeholders.

  • Degree qualified in economic studies combined with electrical/electronic or a comparable experience in the field of Supplier & Customer sales and distribution would be a plus.

  • Open, flexible, and energetic colleague with excellent communication and networking skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Confident and compelling

  • Strong proficiency in French and English.
