Job Title: Repair Technician
Job Description
The Repair Technician will use basic hand tools and pneumatic tools to take apart tank and water feeder assemblies as well as the electronic components that control the unit. The company’s products have a lifetime warranty, so this person will be required to disassemble and repair products. As needed, the technician will also support assembly needs on the production line. The products are residential and commercial spa products that operate off of steam, such as saunas and steam showers, which support respiratory and therapeutic health benefits.
Responsibilities
Inspect, evaluate, and repair steam generators, controls, and other accessories.
Work with other repair technicians to determine the problem that is occurring.
Record, verify, and document information for each order.
Clean, rebuild, and replace electrical and mechanical devices.
Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow safety protocols.
Track time spent on all repair projects and material used during the repair.
Generate inventory lists to restock inventory as needed and monitor current counts.
Oversee and maintain the tank cleaners, tacking machine, etc.
Relay problems and attempt to find solutions with the Manager.
Lift 50 pounds 6-8 times per day, moving devices from repair bench to testing bench, to assembly, and to shipping as needed.

Work Environment
The company has a close-knit team of 35-40 employees working in an air-conditioned environment, though it can get warm in some areas due to the steam-producing equipment. The team is fast-paced and hardworking, with a strong sense of urgency to achieve goals. The position is first shift, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Summer months are slower with less overtime, while winter months offer more overtime opportunities. The device weighs about 50 pounds, so you must be comfortable with standing and lifting throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
