EMT- Basic Course -Late March 2021 The Central EMS Training Academy is proud to present an accelerated 8-week EMT class beginning late March 2021. To remove additional barriers to entering your career in EMS, Central EMS is also offering a limited number of paid stipends with a training wage for classroom hours. Central EMS is seeking driven, dedicated candidates interested in taking the first step to join the emergency medical services industry. Your EMT certification is the first step in a career in EMS or can be a steppingstone to careers in public safety and health care. How much does it cost?FREE tuition & certification fees (National Registry, Georgia) available candidates who pass with a one-year employment commitment. Limited slots available.A limited number of paid stipends are available: $10/hour wage for classroom hours + benefits package with a two-year commitment. Limited slots available. All candidates selected will be paid the stipend. Upon passing exam, EMTs are ready to work on an ambulance making up to $30,000 a year with room to grow up to $45,000 with additional shift-friendly, sponsored paramedic certification.*Acceptance into the class is subject to background check and motor vehicle records screen. Course Description:Our EMT Course follows the National Standard Curriculum as defined by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (www.nremt.org). This course has been approved through the Georgia State Office of EMS and Trauma. Upon successful completion of our program, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to pass both the cognitive and psychomotor exams required by NREMT. Central EMS will cover costs of National Registry and Georgia EMT certifications. All of your clinical 3rd rides will be completed on our 911-Advanced Life Support and BLS Ambulances. Being able to provide you real-life emergency experience is what sets our programs apart from others. You will be actively engaged and challenged to be a part of "our team". When are classes?Classes begin March 2021; Schedule to be announced. Classes end 8-10 weeks from start. Where will classes be held?Central EMS headquarters, 205 Hembree Park Drive, Suite 100, Roswell, GA 30076And Remotely at our Macon & Savannah locations. Attendance will be monitored.
