The Accounting Associate plays a crucial role within our four-person Business Office team, overseeing full-cycle Accounts Payable, including employee reimbursements, corporate credit card expenses, and expense reporting. Additionally, this position provides support for student billing, collections, and performs thorough Balance Sheet account reconciliations and Income Statement account analysis.
Salary:
Branson uses a faculty salary scale that is based on education and years of experience and ranges annually for full time faculty from $79,000.00-$157,500.00. The salary for this position will be pro-rated based on FTE.
Job Summary:
Branson is seeking a long term substitute Spanish teacher to cover a leave of absence from mid-October to mid-February. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education and able to create an engaging, communicative learning environment for our students.
Position Overview:
60% FTE, temporary position (Mid-October to Mid-February)
Teaching load: 3 classes (2 Spanish IV electives and 1 Spanish II class)
Collaborate with the Languages department to ensure curriculum continuity
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
Experience teaching Spanish at the high school level or higher
Familiarity with current language teaching methodologies and technologies
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English
Ability to create engaging, culturally rich lessons
Experience with communicative teaching
Willingness to participate in school community beyond the classroom
Responsibilities:
Teach 2 Spanish IV elective classes and 1 Spanish II class
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and standards
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Maintain accurate records of student performance
Participate in department meetings and professional development activities
Contribute positively to the school community
Preferred Skills:
Experience with a proficiency-based Spanish curriculum
Knowledge of Spanish-speaking cultures and current events
Experience with educational technology and online learning platforms
