Job Title: H/R Operator

Job Description

Our Client meets today’s modern fastening needs. From automotive, industrial, rail, and ship building to defense, medical, and agricultural, Our Client can provide the fastener solution for any critical or standard application. They are looking for multiple Roller/Header Operators for their 1st and 2nd shift teams.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate equipment (Fastener/Screw/Thread machines)

• Participate fully in the training program

• Learn to use appropriate measurement tools

• Learn to read and understand blueprints

• Learn to check parts for surface discontinuities

• Learn to weld wire

Essential Skills

• Fastener or Screw Machine Experience (working as a die setter, thread operator, roll operator, header operator)

• Setup experience (1 year minimum)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Formax Machine experience

• Tooling experience (Die Setting or Tooling Tech or Repair)

• Sacma Operation experience

• CNC Setup experience

• Die Setting experience

• Military experience

• Auto mechanic experience

Why Work Here?

We offer a sign-on bonus based on performance and attendance during the first 90 days/contract period, ranging from $2,500 to $5,000. Additionally, there is a referral bonus of $10,000 after 1 year.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean fastener company. Training will be conducted for 3 months on the 1st shift (5:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday at the Utica facility) with occasional Fridays and Saturdays. After training, you will move to the 2nd shift (3:30 PM to 1:30 AM).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
