About the Job: As a Registered Veterinary Technician you will be responsible for:
Outpatient Receiver
Assisting veterinarian with exams
Order and perform diagnostics
Communicate treatment plan to owner for approval
Facilitate treatment plan
Facilitate outpatient care or hospitalization
Input outpatient invoices
Review discharges and client education
Down time-Take advice calls; continuing education; always assist in area of need
Responsibilities- Ensure Crash cart & Ultrasound are clean, stocked, and in working order
End of shift- Ensure all documentation is complete; transfer patients care next shift
Schedule:
Seasonal Summer help needed from Mid-June to Mid-August
Includes $4.00/hour differential
10 hours shifts; 40 hours per week
Sunday-Wednesday 1:00PM-12:00AM
About You:
Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Passion for providing the highest quality in patient care.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal hospital setting required. Recent graduates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology will be considered.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.
