Commercial Loan Administrator

The Commercial Loan Administrator performs loan administration work including ordering third party reports, document review, system of record maintenance, and resolving client loan and deposit issues. This job elevates reporting issues to management and consistently works to maintain the accuracy of the company's commercial loan management system.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops and organizes loan applicant information for review and analysis by loan officers and inputs pertinent loan data into credit delivery system.

  • Assists with the closing of loans by preparing loan closing documents and related materials as directed.

  • Orders and tracks status of all title work from title companies, appraisals, and flood determinations.

  • Assists in maintaining and monitoring borrower's required insurance, loan reporting requirements and covenants.

  • Prepares documents and correspondence for reports as required, following approved policies and procedures.

Additional Information

  • This role will support commercial loans and deposits in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) space focusing on working capital lines of credit, equipment finance, and owner-occupied real estate.

  • This position is responsible for preparing all documents from the point of application to the closing of a loan, utilizing internal software, in accordance with Bank approval and regulatory compliance. Working closely with Lender to coordinate closings with attorneys and customers.

  • Additional responsibilities include:

  • Identifies and reviews new customers to assure Commercial Loan Department is adhering to U.S. Patriot Act, performs credit checks, and contracts with outside vendors for services such as environmental, flood certifications and IRS information.

  • Reviews documentation pre- and post-closing to ensure accuracy. Researches and obtains missing documentation

  • Ensures all documents required for loan closing are obtained and accurate including insurance binders.

  • Inputs and maintains customer’s credit/legal files in document imaging software.

  • Review UCC for all applicable new loans to perfect lien.

  • Obtains and updates HMDA/CRA data for commercial applications, as applicable.

  • Processes receipts and submission of invoices through accounts payable system.

  • Preparation of adverse action notices to customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Prepares modification documents and covenant acknowledgement/waivers

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial and industrial lending experience (processing experience preferred).

  • Commercial loan closing & funding experience.

  • Knowledge of attorney prepared loan documents.

  • Experience with commercial loan origination systems, IBS and OnBase is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong knowledge of entity documents.

  • Knowledge and prior experience with Docusign.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level of customer service with a pro-active approach to problem solving.

  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Good analytical skills and high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritize tasks throughout the day to ensure deadlines are met, often working independently.

Pay Range $74,500 to $100,700
