Position Description:
Position Summary: The Finance/Accounting Summer Intern will utilize strong accounting, financial reporting and analytical skills to support the business needs.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Prepare and distribute Global Daily Volume reporting and analysis
Perform month end close activities
Prepare and book Journal Entries and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations
Scanning documents
T&E Analysis
Capex
Backhaul
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Required Skills and Experience:
Working towards Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong analytical skills with an ability to focus on the details
Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem solving skills
Proficient in the use of Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Possess a Professional Demeanor
Ability to work independently/self-managed and in a team environment
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of JD Edwards One World
Experience working in the distribution or manufacturing industry
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
