Position Description:

Position Summary: The Finance/Accounting Summer Intern will utilize strong accounting, financial reporting and analytical skills to support the business needs.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and distribute Global Daily Volume reporting and analysis

  • Perform month end close activities

  • Prepare and book Journal Entries and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations

  • Scanning documents

  • T&E Analysis

  • Capex

  • Backhaul

  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Working towards Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to focus on the details

  • Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem solving skills

  • Proficient in the use of Excel

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Possess a Professional Demeanor

  • Ability to work independently/self-managed and in a team environment

  • Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards One World

  • Experience working in the distribution or manufacturing industry

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
