Northeastern Counseling Center, the Uintah Basin community mental health and substance abuse treatment center, has an immediate opening for a full-time mental health case manager in the ROOSEVELT office.  This individual will assist clients in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational and other services.  They will also provide face-to-face skills services aimed at improving the client's daily living and life skills, increasing compliance with medication regimen and reducing symptoms that may interfere with clients functioning.  They will be part of the center's MCOT team which will include working a rotating after hours swing shift and occasional weekends and holidays.

Preference may be given for college course work in social work, psychology, health education, community education, community health services, or nursing but is not required.  This individual must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form; advise others effectively; prepare and present educational materials; must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record; must be at least 21 years of age; must be able to pass a Criminal Background Screening.  Position is open until filled.
