About the company:

Chapman & Sons Logistics Inc. has been revitalizing the landscape of residential freight delivery. Our company provides the highest quality white-glove delivery service, while maintaining extremely competitive rates. We specialize in delivery of over-sized products including major appliances.

We are seeking experienced drivers to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. A CDL license is NOT required, but Chauffeur License and experience with 26 ft box trucks is a must. Potential candidates must be at least 18 years of age, valid state drivers license, and good driving record -- You WILL be driving the company vehicles. Travel is required for this position. This position requires you to able to deliver large household appliances/electronics (dishwashers, washer & dryers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves, plasma, LCD, LED Televisions), as well as handling them properly.

Provide friendly, top-notch customer experience through white glove service with a servant's heart in our stores and during customers home deliveries. Through safe and compliant loading/unloading and installation of products. While following all handling and transportation procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Transport appliances to a variety of destinations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues.
• Able to perform preventative maintenance.
• Follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving.
• Retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as following company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations timely*

Key Requirements:

• Truck/Delivery Driver experience.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Able to lift over 100 lbs with assistance.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.
• A Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Usually you will have 13-20 stops a day
• Day consists of pickup of route and appliances from warehouse, then delivering to customer's homes, offices, or businesses

Job Type: Full-time 1099-Contractor

Pay: $150.00 per day

Two Weeks Paid Training at $140/day

Quarterly Performace-based pay raises. (Every 3 months)

Weekly pay must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift, M-F,  and Saturdays during peak season
