Burrell Behavioral Health Housekeeper in Rolla, Missouri

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Remove trash daily throughout the agency.

  • Clean staff break room, copy room, conference room, and group rooms. Clean all interior and exterior glass doors daily.

  • Vacuum all carpeted hallways and high traffic areas daily (i.e. conference room, copy room, group rooms). Sweep and mop all tiles areas daily.

  • Clean all bathrooms daily by sanitizing toilets/sinks, sweeping and mopping floors, and stocking supplies.

  • Dust furniture in lobby, conference room, and copy room daily.

  • Vacuum carpeted individual offices and sweep/mop tiles offices on a rotating schedule so that offices are vacuumed on a routine basis.

  • Wipe down walls, baseboards and chair rails in hallways and offices.

  • Empty outside building trash containers daily.

  • Clean office window sills monthly and interior windows as needed.

  • Demonstrates interest in long and short-term goals and objectives of ‘The System’.

  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Team Members.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, equipment, materials and supplies related to cleaning.

  • Extensive knowledge of safety practices and principles related to maintenance activities including any applicable laws or regulations.

  • Capable of effectively communication and interaction with coworkers, managers, subordinates and the general public sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Experience and Education Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred;

  • Two (2) years responsible employment history with an emphasis on previous Housekeeping experience.

  • None

Employment Requirements:

  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record and abuse/neglect.

  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.

  • All training requirements including Relias Learning at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance in state of residency with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

ADA Consideration - Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally (exists up

the 1/3 of the time) and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time)

and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.

Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, or requires sitting most of the time but

entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls, or requires working at a production rate

pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of

those materials are negligible.
