Description We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team located in Rogers, Minnesota. The role will involve extensive collaboration with the project management team, tracking and analyzing project financial statuses, and managing weekly billings. This role is in the industry and offers an exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive collaboration with the project management team for accurate project accounting.

• Analyzing and reporting the financial status of projects.

• Handling weekly billings for projects, with a comprehension of each state's sales tax.

• Supervising receivable income and assisting project managers with collections.

• Providing cost tracking updates to customers when necessary.

• Conducting weekly meetings to discuss open issues with Project Management.

• Attendance at customer meetings as required.

• Involvement in various ad hoc accounting projects and requests.

• Assisting in the annual financial audit process from a project basis.

• Utilizing skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Demonstrable experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding and experience in General Ledger management

• Skilled in creating and managing Journal Entries

• Proven ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite software for accounting purposes

• Experience in using Oracle for accounting tasks

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting and financial management

• Knowledge of SAP for managing financial transactions and reporting
