Robert Half Part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper in Rogers, Minnesota

Description We are seeking a Part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Rogers, Minnesota. This role is crucial in managing our daily accounting needs using QuickBooks, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, financial reports are prepared in a timely manner, and financial practices are efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

• Implement and maintain the financial processes, systems, and policies.

• Ensure the preparation and timely submission of all financial reports.

• Make recommendations on financial decisions by providing accurate and timely financial information.

• Participate in the budgeting and planning process by providing expertise.

• Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve financial processes.

• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.

• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

• Utilize various accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Computerized Accounting System, Great Plains (GPAC), and Microsoft Excel for efficient accounting functions.

• Conduct annual budget preparation and cash flow analysis. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with computerized accounting systems

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle all accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in preparing annual budget

• Proficient in cash flow analysis

• Part-time availability required

• Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is essential

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred

• A degree in accounting or a related field is advantageous

• Must have ethical standards and integrity.
