Summary/Objective: The Facility Technician will report directly to the Regional Facilities Manager to support ongoing projects. The Facility Technician will support the business units' projects through design, planning and construction, including maintenance of equipment, as well as contractor coordination and support. The Facilities Technician will assure efficient project execution in a safe manner, in conjunction with Rogers Safety Management System.

Essential Functions: 1. Works with contractors to ensure safety and accuracy of work is up to code and Rogers standards. 2. Provides support for the installation and repair of facility infrastructure 3. Obtains specs and design information of new equipment, works within the team to assist in the identification and procurement of such equipment 4. Identifies options for equipment retrofits and repairs, as needed 5. Works directly with all departments within the organization, and assists in the facilitation of the relationship between Rogers Corporation and selected vendors for all facility systems 6. Supports energy efficiency programs and savings opportunities for utilities and other facility related expenses. 7. Provide support for structural, HVAC, plumbing, and other construction-related building issues. Provide support for all aspects of building infrastructure.

Required Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalency * Minimum of 2 years of related experience in plant operations or maintenance Required Skills and Abilities: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills * Excellent analytical and judgment skills Preferred Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field * 2 - 4 years' experience in a related role * Prior experience in facilities-related projects such as building design, acquisition of equipment, etc. * Experienced in maintaining multiple projects and shifting priorities on a regular basis * Understanding of manufacturing environment, equipment, and building layout/design * Maintenance trade experience (electrician, welder, machinist, mechanic, etc.) Why work for Rogers With an outstanding work environment, vast developmental opportunities, and a top-notch benefit package, we empower employees with a culture of excellence.
