Robert Half SR. Financial Reporting Manager in Rogers, Arkansas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr. Financial Reporting Manager in the retail industry. Based in Rogers, Arkansas, you will oversee our financial reporting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual filings under Security and Exchange Commission regulations

• Assist in fulfilling all Security and Exchange Commission reporting requirements

• Participate in the drafting of earnings release materials, including conference call scripts, press releases, and investor presentations

• Conduct comprehensive research on accounting and reporting matters to ensure compliance with GAAP

• Supervise all external audits on sales taxes, income taxes, and 401(k) plans

• Manage sales tax reporting, research, and maintenance for dealerships

• Handle income tax reporting, research, and tax returns

• Review and monitor internal controls, including Internal Audit review

• Monitor sales contracts for proper add-ons and sales taxes

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, supporting company mission, vision, values, and standards of ethics.

• Proven knowledge and experience with SEC Financial Reporting, SEC filings, SEC Regulations, and SEC Reporting

• Proficiency in SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

• Experience with Deferred Tax calculations and strategies

• Familiarity with Footnote Preparation in financial reports

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on staff development and team building

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred)

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
