The Siemens Industry, Inc. in Roebuck, SC is seeking a Busway Drafter, to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. The Busway Drafter position is responsible for completing semi-complex design drawings for customer approval & installation of Busway. The candidate will report to the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor and will have no direct reports. Responsibilities

In this position you will:

• Collaborate with the Order Management & Engineering teams to review and interpret customer design requirements for busway electrical distribution systems

• Create customer approval drawings based on customer / system requirements

• Learn and apply knowledge of Siemens products and processes to create an Itemized bill of materials of the busway system.

• Create a record layout drawing and itemized list for use in customer installation

• Participate in onsite visitations to help customers design and/or troubleshoot busway system layout

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates Technical Degree

• 2D and 3D modeling experience required ( AutoCAD & Revit Preferred )

• Read and interpret architectural drawings

• Work and communicate in a team driven environment

• Prioritize workload independently for effective time management

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications).

• Ability to work in a hybrid office/remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering Degree

• AutoCAD & Revit experience

• Experience with Electrical Products such as Busway, Panels and/or Switchboards

• SAP Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Teamcenter (or similar) knowledge

The pay for this position is $47,500-$88,300 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
