ManpowerGroup Production Supervisor in Rocky Mount, North Carolina

Our client, within Pharma / Life Sciences is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. In this role this person would Leads employees who are engaged in the production of pharmaceutical or biotechnology products in compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) guidelines, and federal, state, and local regulations.

Job Title: Production Supervisor ( Pharmaceutical)

Location: Rocky Mount, NC

Pay Range: $32/hr to $35/hr (Varies based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines including safety, quality and environmental.

  • Managing the daily operation to meet production schedule.

  • Leading the implementation of Lean/6-sigma/5S/IMEx (Integrated Manufacturing Excellence) initiatives.

  • Working with technical support staff to trouble shoot production issues and identify and implement process improvements.

  • Guiding and directing team members to ensure a cohesive, positive and inclusive team environment.

  • Supporting team member development through coaching and mentoring.Providing timely performance feedback and recognition for all team members.

  • Identifying staffing needs and working with human resource teams to recruit, interview and onboard new team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical operations and/or people leadership

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or 6 years in pharmaceutical operations and/or people leadership
