Job Title: Order Selector

Job Description

We are seeking motivated Order Selectors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a performance-based environment and in a freezer setting. Candidates will be trained and certified to operate an electric pallet jack. This role does not require computer skills, and the work will primarily involve selecting, staging, and preparing orders for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Select orders accurately and efficiently.

• Operate an electric pallet jack safely.

• Work in a freezer environment with temperatures as low as -15 degrees F.

• Drop off selected items in the staging area to be palletized or boxed for shipping.

• Lift up to 100lbs as part of the job duties.

• Maintain a proven attendance record.

• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with loading, unloading, and warehouse operations.

• Experience with inventory management, selecting, picking, and packing.

• Willingness to work in a cold storage environment.

• Ability to use an RF scan gun and RF scanner.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a freezer environment with temperatures reaching as low as -15 degrees F. Each team consists of 12-15 selectors, each with their own picking list. A thick jacket and thermal wear are recommended, although many employees find they adjust to the cold due to constant movement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROCKY HILL, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
