TRI-COUNTY FAMILY CARE CENTER Parents As Teachers Educator - FullTime in ROCKY FORD, Colorado
Parents As Teachers Educator *Position Open until Filled
MUST: Must have a High school diploma or GED. Two years' paid experience working with families and children or preferably have early child education. Must have good computer skills, communication, phone, organizational and record-keeping skills; knowledge in good parenting skills; awareness of community resources. Must pass CBI check, have driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.
SKILLS: Energetic, motivated person to be a full-time Parents As Teachers Educator to make home visits and offer playgroup activities.
DUTIES: Recruitment, visiting & screening families with children ages 0-3 Planning and delivering group meetings for parents Connecting parents with community resources Attending staff meetings Accessing on-going professional development training Raising public awareness of the Parents As Teachers program Maintaining accurate and timely records; data entry Participating in program evaluation process
PAY: Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.
BENEFITS: Paid holidays, after 90 days employment. Paid vacation and personal days after 1 year of employment.
JOB TO START: As soon as qualified candidate is hired
DURATION: Permanent Full-Time.
SHIFT/HOURS/DAYS: Hours are flexible Monday-Friday. May need to work an occasional weekend or evening.
JOB SITE: Rocky Ford - Office setting with travel.
