We are in search of a Sr. Tax Accountant to become a part of our team based in Montgomery County, Maryland. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the field of real estate and fixed assets. As a Sr. Tax Accountant, your key role will be to handle a range of accounting functions, ensure compliance with tax laws, and manage IRS Form 1065.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax partnership tasks and ensure compliance with IRS Form 1065

• Perform real estate accounting tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Oversee and manage fixed assets, ensuring proper record-keeping

• Use the CCH Prosystem for various accounting tasks and functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Accounting Functions is a must

• Knowledge of Compliance is required

• Familiarity with IRS Form 1065 is essential

• Expertise in Tax - Partnership is necessary

• Prior experience in Real Estate Accounting is desired

• Understanding of Fixed Assets is a requirement
