Randstad is seeking a customer-service insurance professional, with a current property and casualty license, for a private insurance firm in the Rockville area. This role is a service-only position, offering workplace flexibility (2 days remote), and upward mobility into higher level service roles, underwriting, and claims. Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM Environment: HYBRID - M-W In office, Th-Fri: Remote (first 30 days will be 100% on-site for training) Benefits: Company covers 92% of employee's (and dependents) benefits (health,dental) through BlueCross/BlueShield; paid STD; 2 weeks PTO (goes up each year); 401k after 30 days with company contribution; paid birthdays off Salary: $51,750 Spanish speaking: $53,750+ Please note, this role requires an active Property & Casualty insurance license

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming daily calls, about 30-40 a day, from policyholders and potential new customers

• Process customer requests

• Enter detailed and accurate notes regarding policyholder interactions in the database

• Follow up on pending issues and investigations (underwriting, claims) and provide speedy response and communication with customers

• Handle daily data entry regarding renewal policies

• Provide product education

• Handle premium payments

• Return calls, handle new business application data entry, provide timely feedback to leadership team regarding system issues or customer concerns

• PLEASE NOTE: This role requires an active Property & Casualty license
