Vigene Biosciences Project Coordinator in Rockville, Maryland

Department: Research Production Reports to: Director, Research Production Location: Rockville, MD Company Overview Vigene Biosciences, Inc. is an award winning CDMO that provides viral vector-based gene delivery services and products for research and clinical applications. Job Summary: Manages viral vector production projects by collaborating with in-house teams and clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison between Vigene and clients on activities for client projects Collect updates on all project activities on a weekly basis to maintain open dialogue with emphasis on completion; tracking updates and interactions through use of SalesForce Schedule, conduct, and draft minutes for Research team on respective client projects to ensure regular communication Provide project support to Research team in their execution of activities, including, but not limited to, manufacturing/release of product, analytical testing and shipping coordination with Logistics Hold team members accountable for on-time completion of tasks or milestones Support scenario planning for Research deliverables and generation of work orders Provide project coordination and communication, including participation in technical calls and meetings, development of agendas, creation of meeting minutes, tracking of action items, and scheduling of follow-up meetings Other responsibilities as required Non-Essential Duties & Responsibilities: n/a Supervisory Responsibilities: n/a Knowledge & Other Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field with >3 years of experience in biologics manufacturing Other Characteristics: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Good critical thinking skills and technical skills Well organized, able to manage multiple projects at a time Ability to meet deadlines, with attention to detail Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements: Standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, walking Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Vigene Biosciences, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression and identity, national origin, ancestry, age, mental and physical disability, genetic information, any veteran status, military status or application for military service, or membership in any other category protected under applicable law.
