Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Project Manager: Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects, in alignment with Division, Region, and company financial and profitability goals. Provide senior level technical review and support for a diverse portfolio of projects. management of all financials aspects of a project throughout lifecycle. Projects can include environmental due diligence, subsurface investigations, remediation, compliance sampling/reporting Maryland/DC/Virginia Regulatory Programs knowledge and interactions Become knowledgeable about Apex services and capabilities for cross-selling Develop new project work through sales efforts and response to proposals (new or existing clients). Write and review technical reports and proposals. Actively manage and develop existing client portfolios and source for new business opportunities. Hire and manage subcontractors. Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product, strong potential to have direct reports. Ensure safe performance of project work. Actively develop your own career growth. What we're looking for: BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or other related field. 8 - 10+ years of solid technical experience. Environmental Due diligence (Phase I, II ESAs), comprehensive site assessment, remediation, compliance project experience required. Professional Geologist (PG) is a plus. Experience with Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE), Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) and District Department of the Energy & Environment (DOEE). Strong financial management experience is highly desired Strong Technical Writing Skill is a must Ability to mentor and train staff. Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices. Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required. Experience with Deltek Vision is highly desired.
