Global Market Development Manager - OEM

As the Manager of Market Development - OEM at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the incredible opportunity to drive the global marketing strategy for our Biosciences Division (BID) and generate demand for our OEM solutions. Join our dynamic marketing team and play a key role in creating awareness and showcasing our OEM services to customers in the diagnostics and life science tools industry.

Working closely with product experts, you will develop impactful materials such as brochures, presentations, case studies, ebooks, and educational resources. Your talent for influencing and adhering to brand guidelines will be critical to your success in this position. Overall, we are seeking someone with a strong understanding of how our biosciences portfolio is used by OEM customers in the molecular diagnostics and life science tools industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a matrixed organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create exceptionally engaging customer-facing content to establish Thermo Fisher Scientific as the premier OEM supplier and partner of choice.

  • Determine the most relevant metrics to evaluate each stage of the customer's journey, enabling data-driven decision-making.

  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to enhance visibility and create a significant impact.

  • Ensure that all customer-facing materials are flawlessly accurate, up-to-date, and strictly aligned with the company's brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and insights necessary for creating highly effective sales materials.

  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and seamlessly incorporate them into sales collateral and presentations.

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of validated experience in content marketing or sales enablement roles, preferably in molecular diagnostics or immunodiagnostics.

  • Consistent track record in creating customer-facing collateral that supports sales objectives and drives outstanding customer engagement.

  • Solid understanding of the relevant field and the ability to translate technical information into compelling messaging.

  • Strong project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in content creation tools and the MS Office software suite.

  • Proficient in exercising independent and analytical thinking with a dedication to continuous learning.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to changes.

  • Ability to translate metrics into actionable business decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$138,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
