Position Summary:

Responsible for overall leadership of one or more Retail Center, providing sales and service of all retail bank products. Coaches Team to meet business development goals. Develops new business and expands existing customer relationships. Originates consumer loans.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manages and administers retail services including new accounts, account relationship servicing, consumer lending and teller operations.
  2. Ensures that staff is knowledgeable of retail products and services and proficient in sales techniques, to effectively identify, sell and deliver financial services to the customer.
  3. Resolves unusual or difficult customer problems, directly through cooperation with the appropriate area.
  4. Manages day-to-day operations of retail staff to achieve established goals.
  5. Manages day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with auditing procedures, policies, and banking regulations.
  6. Maintains prescribed security controls to protect the bank against unnecessary risk and exposure, and criminal and fraudulent operations.
  7. Monitors and reviews Retail Center activity reports and follows guidelines set forth to meet profitability and productivity goals.
  8. Conducts regular staff meetings to instruct Team Members and align branch goals with the goals of the organization.
  9. Makes recommendations regarding selection of new Retail Team Members, salary increases, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  10. Develops new business and expands existing relationships.
  11. Participates in civic and community activities to generate visibility and contact for the bank.
  12. Completes task necessary to open and close the branch.
  13. Gives ongoing feedback and conducts effective performance reviews.
  14. Optimizes customer contacts to cross sell bank products and services.
  15. Refers customers to appropriate person or department for services outside area of responsibility.
  16. Proactively contacts customers and prospective customers to promote new business opportunities.
  17. Follows consumer and conventional mortgage lending guidelines, objectives and goals that are consistent with Northwest Bank Central Credit policies and procedures.
  18. Completes all individual and ensures direct report Team Members training is on time and with passing score.
  19. May be required to act in capacity of Teller, manage cash vault activity, service and reconcile ATM, oversee building and ground maintenance, perform the duties of Security Officer for the Retail Center and/or act in the capacity of Pinnacle Plus Liaison.
  20. May perform the duties of Security Officer for the Retail Center.
  21. May provide Leadership or act as a liaison for the Pinnacle Plusincluding but not limited to event planning, budget monitoring, growth, and promotion of services to customers and Team Members.
  22. May e required to act in the capacity of administrator or Team Leader in certain Retail Products lines including Elan Credit Card Sales, Promotional activities, and Deluxe Check Program.
  23. Calls on Customers and prospective Customers to promote new business opportunities, including Bank at Work and Business Networking programs.
  24. Approves/declines complex Customer Service decisions such as limit approvals, fee waivers, and charge off accounts.
  25. Directs the preparation of and reviews reports such as loan growth, deposit growth.
  26. Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering to assist management in monitoring for suspicious activity, money laundering, or other illegal customer activity.
