Job Title: Database Administrator II
Locations: Multiple Locations (Rock Island IL ; Fort Huachuca, AZ ; Fort Detrick, MD ; Fort Stewart, GA ; Carlisle Barracks, PA ; Fort Dix, NJ)
Clearance: Secret
Certifications: CompTIA Security+CE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field
Roles and Responsibilities:
Minimum three (3) year of experience in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of data base management systems.
Participates in/supports the identification, evaluation, and recommendation of DBMS design concepts and/or available products based on a matching of system capabilities to validated user requirements.
Determines file organization standards, table structures, indexing methods, replication schedules, and access controls for specific applications.
Develops data queries and report generation formats.
Monitors database usage, troubleshoots data compatibility and integrity issues, and makes modifications for enhanced performance.
Defines and documents database administration policies and procedures.
