This will include regular interaction with R&D Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, logistics, Finance, and other disciplines within the company and with external partners. Having good people skills and the ability to communicate in a cross-functional organizational setup are essential. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving initiatives and hardware programs. You will be working cross-functionally with other teams on a variety of projects for which you will be driving detailed requirements, designs, testing, training, and organizational change management activities. Key accountability is to ensure Supply Chain (Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing & Logistics) is ready for production at the end of the NPI phase and to ensure the systems are in place to sell the products, accessories, and spares. What We Are Looking For Make daily scheduling adjustments to achieve weekly orders for tools produced by respective team Early Involvement in product development stages to understand the needs/requirements and work cross functionally to plan for its execution with selected manufacturers. Plan and execute NPI development builds and influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of high-quality, optimal cost, and maximum capacity. Manage all operations-related communications, upward and downward, throughout the organization. Escalate key issues and present options for resolution to leadership. Manage project schedules and operational deliverables, identify risks, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders with decisions and mitigation plans. Lead cross-functional teams within the company and external partners to prepare for production ramp and product transition to sustaining. Drive cross-functional teams to deliver on product goals and build consensus among teams to balance risks and influence executive decision-making. Work closely with Finance, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Organization to ensure adoption and seamless collaboration across all project areas and business functions. Co-ordinate the Research and Development (R&D) group on requirements, development process, tests and manage timelines. Ensure the correct loading of the Product and FRU BOM’s in Agile and Oracle. Including the incorporation of required Packaging Capability to think strategically, balancing a broad range of internal and external factors when identifying problems, proposing solutions, and making decisions. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) operations. Strong computer applications skills and quick learner with creative problem solving and analytical skills. Production Operations Knowledge - Has a firm understanding of how complex production lines operate including key items such as industrial workings between facilities/departments, line balance, OEE, error proofing, etc. DFM (Design for manufacture) - Experienced at assessing manufacturability and able to clearly articulate issues and propose resolutions. A key indicator of success is driving this feedback upstream and achieving root cause resolution. Extremely knowledgeable of how material moves through the supply chain and throughout the factory. This includes everything from placement of an order, receiving of material, pull of material to the line, consumption of the material and delivery of the final product. Understanding of how to structure a configurable MBOM and associated order structure. Clear understanding of how the manufacturing validation process runs in relation to new products (methodology, validation plans, associated KPIs). Able to facilitate continuous development and betterment of process. Able to develop and sustain resource management plans regarding current and future planned tasks. Excellent creative thinking skills; able to devise creative solutions to complicated problems. Team player: ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams. Outstanding problem-solving skills; versed in various problem-solving methodologies. _ Education and Training___ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemical preferred or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in operations program management PMP Certification is a plus. Six Sigma training is a plus. The ability to work within established health, safety and quality guidelines and the ability to organize the workload and meet deadlines. Hands on manufacturing experience, particularly high complexity, low volume electromechanical systems Proven leader with experience developing and driving a team to achieve production goals. Minimum five years of applied engineering experience Minimum five years leading project/programs. Minimum five years of engagement with a supply chain organization Working knowledge product lifecycle process management _Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:_ Project Management methodology experience such as Waterfall and Agile helpful. Professional, articulate, positive attitude and team oriented. Strong organizational and planning skills. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote) Experience with JIRA desirable. Ability to partner effectively with peers. Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge. Strategic planning abilities required and the ability to prioritize projects and deliverables. Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup. Ability to work effectively with senior management. Ability to adapt and prioritize multiple work assignments.
