Insight Global Outside Sales Representative - SC/NC in Rock Hill, South Carolina

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a motivated and results-driven outside sales representative to join their growing team in the utilities and construction industry. This position would service the entire state of South Carolina. As an outside sales representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, establishing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers, and closing sales. You will also be expected to travel within your assigned territory, attend trade shows and events, and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and a passion for the utilities industry. You will be responsible for being the subject matter expert in our clients utility and electrical products including light pole bases and pads, electric manhole and utility vaults, substation foundations, and transformer vaults and pads.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in outside sales or business development, specifically within the construction, electrical and utilities industry

  • Go getter attitude, willingness and ability to be a road-warrior - will be on the road 50-75% of the time.

  • Experience generating leads and cold calling

  • Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality - Experience selling light pole bases and pads, electric manhole and utility vaults, substation foundations, and transformer vaults and pads. null
