Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Efficiently fills orders by operating various warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts. Responsibilities include computing and optimizing yields, cutting materials to size, and loading/unloading delivery trucks as needed. Utilizes SAP and other tools for receiving and shipping materials. Manages operational activities in SAP through work orders and prepares necessary documentation, including transfer orders, bills of lading, delivery notes, work orders, and call tags for non-conforming materials.

Responsibilities

  • Fill orders in a timely manner using warehouse equipment and machinery.

  • Operate forklift and other machinery.

  • Compute and optimize yields.

  • Cut material to size.

  • Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.

  • Use SAP and other tools to receive and ship materials.

  • Process operational activities in SAP through work orders.

  • Prepare proper documentation including transfer orders, bills of lading, delivery notes, work orders, and call tags for non-conforming material.

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in SAP by correctly filling orders, organizing the material in the warehouse, and conducting regular inventory checks.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
