Responsibilities

This team will offer a unique opportunity to experience different clinical exposure across the Medical Center including: Oncology, Peri-op, Cardiac, Thoracic, Acute Medicine, Surgical specialty units, Acute Rehab, psychiatry, Progressive care. Opportunities across service lines to develop a diversified skill base. The Glide team nurse will have a unique opportunity to assist with unit expansion and opening. Additional opportunities will be available for clinical ladder advancement, charge, and precepting. Assignments can vary pending previous experience, the ability to work on a single unit or on a variety of units. Individuals must be creative, flexible, motivated, and possess excellent communication skills. 2 years acute care experience required, BSN required.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $37.93 - $49.31

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
