Job Title: Technician
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Interpret and follow construction design plans to assemble trusses and wood panels.
Select, prepare, and cut lumber, then construct components using various hand and power tools.
Adhere to instructions displayed on TVs throughout the shop area.
Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8-hour shifts.
Essential Skills:
Experience in construction, particularly with lumber and hand/power tools.
Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
Knowledge in general labor, carpentry, concrete work, solar installations, and OSHA regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency with tools such as drills, saws, hammers, nail guns, and tape measures.
Capability to work with blueprints and lumber.
Shift: M - F 6am - 2:30pm

Work Environment
The work environment is a shop/yard setting with 8-10 crew members in each building at a time, per shift. The dress code requires construction attire, including work pants, sweatshirt, gloves, and steel toe/carbon toe boots, with adjustments based on weather conditions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
