Job Description:

Summary:

The Senior Product Manager role is a key position within our managed service organization supporting the Health Plan's strategic initiatives and business goals by overseeing the entire product lifecycle and supporting the development and growth of our product portfolio. The incumbent will work closely with senior management to develop the product vision, roadmap, and business case. The Product Manager champions a customer-centric approach within the organization and is ultimately responsible for ensuring that our offerings meet both business objectives and customer needs.

Essential Accountabilities:

Frames and leads discussions with key business and technical stakeholders to assess opportunities, make data-driven recommendations, and build consensus ahead of important investment decisions.

Develops business case for product strategy and presents to executive leadership to gain approval.

Creates internal documentation to enable effective communication of product strategy from concept through launch to all levels of the organization.

Defines and leads the development of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and market trends. Ensures alignment of products across the overall product portfolio.

Develops detailed product requirements and specifications. Ensures timely and successful delivery of product features and releases. Prioritizes features, improvements, and bug fixes based on business and customer impact.

Provides technical guidance and insights during product development to ensure alignment with overall product strategy.

Ensures successful end to end execution from the concept to launch. Builds a product vision aligned with business priorities on maximizing ROI and delivering customer value by defining product requirements and coordinating with cross functional teams to drive product success.

Facilitates cross-functional meetings and workshops to drive product initiatives and problem-solving.

Understands the market and competitive landscape. Monitors and analyzes product performance and gathers user feedback to inform product strategy and validate product concepts and iterate on existing features.

Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.

Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Twelve (12) or more years of proven experience as a project manager, product manager or similar role; or a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or a related field with six (6) or more years of proven experience.

Proven ability to manage people and projects effectively.

Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum (Scrum Master experience is ideal).

Demonstrated financial acumen to develop business cases including pro forma financials.

Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex technical issues and communicate them effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Ability to translate quantitative data into qualitative insights and effective strategies.

Understanding of Development Operations practices and tools.

Ability to manage multiple projects and product initiatives simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a workstation and working on a computer.

Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

Compensation Range(s):

Grade 210: Minimum: $85, 446 - Maximum: $158, 080

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity.
