Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team of multi-discipline design and engineering professionals focused on the industrial manufacturing market. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide leading electrical engineering designs for clients' projects throughout the total life cycle. This role involves supporting projects across the US, focusing on engineering solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulations and client specifications.

Hard Skills

• Power Distribution Systems Design and Engineering based on the National Electrical Code and Client Specifications

• Facility Lighting Systems Design and Engineering

• Grounding Systems Design and Engineering

• Power Panel Schedule Development

• Motor Control System Design and Engineering

• Process Control Panel Design and Engineering

• Process Instrumentation Wiring Diagrams

• Design calculations and technical report preparation

• Proficient with drawing production tools such as REVIT

• Experience with arc flash software, breaker settings, and coordination studies

Soft Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Team leadership and effective team collaboration

• Commitment to high-quality work products

• Ability to develop and mentor less experienced employees

• Leadership capability for decision-making and fostering collaboration

Additional Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience with a professional engineering (PE) license, and specialized expertise in heavy industrial, manufacturing, and chemical plants.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Professional Engineering (PE) license (in any US State)

• 10+ Years of experience

• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit software is a plus

Work Environment

This role is a hybrid position based in Syracuse, NY.
