This is a per-diem position with daytime hours and hybrid evening shifts, offering flexibility.
Pay Differential: Additional $2.00 per hour for bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing culturally competent, trauma-informed and person-centered care in our OASAS licensed Outpatient Programs. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable with both harm reduction and abstinence-based recovery models: our clients define recovery on their own terms, and we provide the support necessary to help them achieve their personal goals. The nurse will join a talented and diverse team of professionals, ranging from medical staff to counselors to peer advocates. As part of a team, they will be responsible for conducting medical assessments, administering medications, and establishing service linkages with other treatment providers, community resources, and addressing other health-related needs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct medical assessments in person and via telehealth and formulate initial care plans based on findings. Provide support for Medication-Assisted Treatment Clinic. Manage the ordering, tracking, and administration of injectable medications. Maintain documentation according to OASAS clinic standards. Address barriers and social conditions that are impacting sustained recovery through community partnerships, and referrals to health and social service organizations. Maintain client confidentiality and ethical conduct in accordance with Delphi Rises compliance plan. Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum requirements for this position: A valid NYS RN license 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
