Salary Range: $19.00-24.00/hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:45am

Tech Level I

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality, Food Packaging Safety and other requirements.

  • Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.

  • Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined.

  • Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a manufacturing environment with possible safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision and other protection as required.

This role requires exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee may be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience: Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics; Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment; Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment

  • Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized.

  • Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
