Responsibilities

Faculty Job Description:

The Department of Imaging Sciences is seeking an ABR certified/eligible radiologist to join the division of Pediatric Radiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. We are the only Level 1 trauma center within the Rochester region. The Golisano Children’s Hospital is a nationally ranked, freestanding acute care children's hospital, which is responsible for all aspects of Pediatric Radiology. The new facility has a Dual energy CT and one of the countries only PET/MRI embedded directly into a children's hospital. Experience in pediatric IR is desired, but not required.

The University is home to the region’s largest NICU and PICU. The majority of complicated cardiac surgeries in Western NY are performed within the Children's Hospital.

Compensation and benefit packages are highly competitive, including 403B and 457 plans, disability insurance, and tuition benefits. As a non-profit institution, service time may count towards the public service federal loan forgiveness program. Faculty enjoy 9 weeks non-clinical time each year with professional activities supported by a generous individually managed professional account. The division has maintained an average of one day per week of dedicated academic/administrative time to allow for career development. Pay Range

Pay Range: $394,250 - $455,000 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
