Description We are in the search for a Patient Financial Services Representative to be a part of our team in the healthcare industry. The position is located in Rochester, New York, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Patient Financial Services Representative, you will be expected to manage customer applications, maintain customer records, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing patient credit applications related to healthcare services.

• Maintaining meticulous records of patient credit information.

• Resolving patient inquiries regarding financial services and billing.

• Monitoring patient accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilizing Allscripts and Cerner Technologies to manage and track patient data.

• Effectively using CRM and Crystal Reports to analyze customer data and generate reports.

• Operating Dentrix Dental Software for streamlined dental practice management.

• Handling and responding to inbound calls from patients regarding financial matters.

• Processing authorizations and performing benefit functions as required.

• Carrying out billing functions and managing charts and graphs for financial data visualization. Requirements

• Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service

• Knowledge and understanding of authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions

• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations

• Understanding and adherence to privacy laws and regulations related to patient information.
