Job descriptionBeyond Talentedge is looking for a full time Garage Coating Applicator.As a Floor Coating Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of coatings to floors and surfaces. Most of our work focuses on garage floors; however, we apply coatings to surfaces such as, patios, porches and basements. Were looking for candidates with a background in painting or construction. We offer a competitive salary.Coating Installer Job Duties:Preparing surfaces by scouring floors, repairing damage, or removing old paintOperate general construction equipment such as large grinders, hand grinders, shop vacs, floor polishers, etc.Mixing, matching, and applying coating systems and finishes to floor surfacesProviding decorative and faux finishes as the project requiresHandling planning and prep work in an efficient mannerCalculating the amounts of materials and time required for each projectTaping off areas as neededCleaning up supplies and equipment throughout the application process to maintain a safe and organized work environmentCommunicating with clients to ensure satisfactionPosition Requirements:Must be dependable and on-timePainting or construction background is a plusMust possess a valid drivers license or the ability to obtain one within the first 30 days of employmentAbility to travel within Greater Rochester Area (No Overnight Travel)Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in changing environmental conditions such as, hot, cold humid, etc.Ability to perform physical labor for 8-12 hours a day and able to lift at least 50lbs or moreThe ideal candidate will have experience in operating general construction equipment (Shop Vac, Generator, Handheld Angle Grinder, Large Floor Grinder, Painting Tools)Pay: $20-25 depending on experience!Beyond TalentEdge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
