Eastman Kodak Company Manufacturing Lab Operator in Rochester, New York
We are looking for a Manufacturing Lab Operator to support Kodak's Film Finishing operation within our Brand, Film and Imaging Division in Rochester, NY. In this position you will be part of Finishing's Motion Picture Lab Team working in a great environment with a bright future.
As a Manufacturing Lab Operator, you will:
* 8 Hours Monday - Friday work schedule with occasional overtime
* Provide operational support for the Motion Picture Lab
* Manage the routine day-to-day quality of a specific series of operations within the department.
* Perform photo chemical mixing & film processing
* Be involved in product quality & process improvement activities
* Have responsibility for specific manufacturing processes, quality inputs, outputs, and troubleshooting
* Interact with Manufacturing Engineers & Technicians and Maintenance.
* Be an Operator-mechanic and perform preventative maintenance as needed
* Work in Dark and Light room conditions
* Maintain strict adherence to operational safety procedures and quality standards
* Must have the ability to work an alternate work schedule if it becomes necessary
Required Skills and Experience:
* Understanding of photographic processing
* Must be a Detail Orientated Team Player
* Must have strong problem solving, data analysis, and basic computer abilities (Excel, Word, etc.)
* Must have the ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision
* Ability to express oneself clearly, both written and verbal, and comprehend a variety of work requests
* Ability to prioritize work to meet business needs
* Willing and able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds
Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:
* Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Knowledge of Outlook, OneLIMS, Felix.
* Basic mechanical aptitude.
