University of Rochester Ld Financial Analyst, Central in Rochester, New York
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Manages and oversees operating budget for Strong Memorial Hospital. Works with departments to develop and adhere to annual budgets. Has direct oversight and management of team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates and manages annual operating budget for Hospital
Reviews Business Improvement Plans (BIPs), finalizes budgets, and develops annual presentation to be delivered to Board of Directors
Maintains budget process during the year, including incorporating monthly budget amendments, review of monthly budget and FTE modifications, review approval of PAF forms and Faculty Recruitment forms
Manages SMH budget system (Axiom), works with team to implement annual enhancements
Other tasks as needed: Analyzes monthly trends reports, provides FTE data for annual and quarterly survey requests, supervises two analysts on the budget team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
8 years of financial analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Highly organized, keen attention to detail, team-oriented, strong reconciliation and analytical skills required.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $96,860 - $145,290 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
