Rochester Regional Health Lab Logistics Supervisor in Rochester, New York

SUMMARY
Supervises team members of Ambulatory Laboratory Services related to the daily operational needs of the department by assuring that decisions related to operations are made within all department, hospital and regulatory guidelines.

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Riedman Campus | 100 Kings Highway South Suite 1700

DEPARTMENT: Logistics

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday | 9am-5:30pm | Mandatory On- Call Weekend Rotation

ATTRIBUTES

  • AAS degree preferred or 6 years equivalent experience performing courier and materials management functions with progressively more responsibility.
  • Minimum of 4 years of managing/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have valid, clean NYS driver's licensee as defined by Qualification's of Motor Vehicle Operations Policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise, coordinate and participate in activities related to Courier Services. Ensure the transport of time-sensitive specimens, reports and supplies between Lab Service Centers, Hospitals, Medical Office Buildings, and Physician Offices according to established schedules and need. Schedule operations and oversee the maintenance of vehicles. Responsible for all HR and regulatory functions as required by organizational policy and regulatory requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV)
PAY RANGE: $55,500.00 - $60,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
