The University of Rochester Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting for an Instructor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Highland Hospital. The responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Providing obstetric patient care on labor and delivery at Highland Hospital

  • Providing gynecologic care for inpatients, surgical patients and emergency room patients at Highland Hospital

  • Providing outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care at Highland Hospital outpatient sites

  • Supervising fellows, residents and medical students in the above clinical activities

Candidate must have an MD or equivalent Degree with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The applicant must be eligible for NYS license. A post-offer health assessment and drug testing is required to be performed on-site.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $192,777 - $306,630 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
