Position Summary: The Groundskeeper p erforms landscaping, garden care and enhancements, grounds equipment maintenance and snow and ice removal to walkways, entrances and other areas when needed, lawn care and maintenance. Responsibilities include:

  • Care and upkeep of the lawns and landscaping.

  • Care and upkeep of the roads, parking areas and sidewalks including snow removal and ice control.

  • Empty outdoor trash containers and keep trash and other debris picked up around the grounds.

  • Maintain all tools, equipment and vehicles in proper condition.

  • Regular scheduled fleet maintenance on all vehicles.

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification of completion.

  • Must have at least 1 - 3 years of experience in facility ground maintenance and landscaping.

  • Must have experience in operating lawn and landscape tools and equipment.

  • Must have experience in operating snow removal equipment.

  • Maintain a valid New York State Driver’s License.
