Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) (https://positions.paylocity.com/PositionManagement/wizard/2033537) seeks a talentedFIT Shift Leadto contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers.:Monroe County Office of Mental Health (MCOMH) has strong, ongoing collaboration with the eleven county law enforcement agencies. In September 2017, MCOMH launched the Forensic Intervention Team (FIT) which partners clinicians with law enforcement. Demand for this service remains high and the program is expanding to cover evening, overnight, and weekend hours. Forensic Intervention Shift Lead will respond with local law enforcement agencies to both crisis and non-crisis situations, to de-escalate, evaluate, and refer individuals to continued treatment or community supports. Role will also provide clinical supervision, delegation of tasks, and program coverage for Forensic Intervention Specialists on their shift.

In this role, you will
Respond to crisis and non-crisis calls with law enforcement upon dispatch from 911.
When multiple calls occur simultaneously, triage calls to determine appropriate level of intervention, balancing needs among various law enforcement departments.
Balance immediate needs with long-term goal to connect to ongoing supports, understanding that needs and timeline for transition vary among cases.
Develop strong relationships with Monroe County’s law enforcement agencies.
Build effective linkages and relationships with informal and community supports (child, adult, and family serving systems), as well as other formal supports.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with forensic entities (including courts and Monroe County Jail), as well as provider agencies.
Support interdepartmental initiatives and planning functions within Monroe County Office of Mental Health.
Function as critical point person and primary contact throughout designated shift for law enforcement, Forensic Specialists, and other community providers.
Provide supervision of Forensic Specialists including clinical input, feedback, and support as needed in collaboration with Senior Forensic Specialist.
Resolve problems with appropriate team members, using conflict resolution skills.
Coordinate and collaborate with other Forensic Intervention Shift Leads and Specialists to ensure staff awareness of safety concerns and provide continuity of care for ongoing crises and/or high utilizers of emergency services.
Manage scheduling and provide program coverage as necessary.
Approve staff time sheets and expense reports.
Rotating on-call responsibility.
Support other Monroe County Office of Mental Health program needs as they arise.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience
LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, Licensed Psychoanalyst, or doctorate in psychology, as documented by valid licensure from NYS ED Office of Professions, or…
Master’s degree in Forensic Science field plus minimum 5 years’ experience in mental health crisis intervention or mental health crisis response setting, or…
Psychiatric Registered Nurse or RN in mental health environment, as documented by valid licensure from NYS ED Office of Professions
Preferred Experience: direct behavioral health support or treatment in emergency/crisis; criminal justice/forensic; substance use disorders; developmental disabilities; and/or youth/family settings
Additional Requirements
Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
Regular access to NYS registered, insured, and inspected vehicle for business purposes.
Minimum $300,000 personal liability on auto insurance policy.
Employee paid parking, FSA parking benefits are available
Willing to carry police radio for communication and response during shift and on-call.
